Minecraft Seed Map
Enter a seed to see biomes and the locations of villages, strongholds, ancient cities and more. Click anywhere on the map to get a /tp command for that spot.
Notes
Java 26.3, 26.2 and 1.21.4 were checked against /locate results from the official server (650 of 652 biome points matched and the other two were in the adjacent cell; 709 of 714 structures matched). For 1.21.5 – 26.1.2 the official biome data is identical to 1.21.4. Older versions marked "reference" and Bedrock are reference values. Some structures may still fail to generate because of terrain. Everything runs in your browser; your seed is never sent to a server.

How to use the seed map
- Type your world seed and press Show. Leave it empty or press Random to explore a new seed.
- Pick the version the world was created in. World generation changed completely in 1.18, so the version matters. Versions marked "reference" may differ from the game.
- Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom. Structure icons appear as you zoom in.
- Click a spot to get a
/tpcommand. In the Nether and the End the command uses/execute in.
Finding your seed
In Java Edition, type /seed in chat (in single player it works even with cheats off; servers need operator level 2). Text seeds are converted to numbers the same way the game does it (Java String.hashCode).
/seed
For Bedrock and servers, see how to find your seed.
Reading the map
- Colors show biomes. Hover (or tap) to see the biome name.
- Icons show structures; toggle them with the checkboxes below the map.
- SH marks strongholds. The first three are the inner ring closest to 0,0.
- ★ is the estimated world spawn. The real spawn can be a few dozen blocks away.
- Height: since 1.18 biomes change with depth, so use Underground / Deep to find dripstone caves, lush caves and the deep dark.
Accuracy
The map uses the open-source library cubiomes (MIT License) compiled to WebAssembly. Biome layout and structure attempts follow the game's own algorithms. For 26.2 and 26.3 the biome tables were rebuilt from the official server's data generator (Sulfur Caves, Dappled Forest and Abandoned Camps included) and checked with /locate on the official server; 1.21.5 – 26.1.2 use the same table as 1.21.4 because their official biome data is identical. About 1 in 5 desert pyramids, jungle temples and trail ruins shown may not generate because of terrain. Terrain can still stop a village or temple from generating, and Bedrock is shown as a biome reference only.
Does it work with Bedrock seeds?
As a biome reference. Since 1.18 the same seed gives nearly the same biome layout in both editions, but Bedrock has not been checked in-game. Bedrock structure positions are different, so they are not shown.
Is the latest version (26.3) exact?
Yes. 26.3 uses biome tables exported from the official server and was checked against in-game /locate results.
Does it work with old versions?
Java versions back to Beta 1.7 are available. Structures that did not exist yet in the chosen version are disabled automatically. Very old versions (Beta 1.7 – 1.0) are experimental.
What are slime chunks?
Chunks where slimes spawn below Y=40. Turn on Slime chunks and zoom in to see them highlighted in green.
